NLD Training Workshop Concludes, Journalists Sensitized to Minority Rights

A five-day training workshop organized by the National Lobbying Delegation (NLD) on minority rights, identification of issues, and reporting on minority-related matters concluded in Islamabad.During the workshop, Madam Shabana Arif, Advocate Sharafat Ali, senior journalist Kamal Siddiqui, Tariq Waheed, and other experts briefed journalists on the challenges faced by minorities, their constitutional rights, and the difficulties journalists encounter while highlighting minority-related issues through the media.
Representatives of press clubs and journalists from across the country, including Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar, Abbottabad, Haripur, Umerkot, Hazara, and Hyderabad, participated in the workshop.The participating journalists pledged to return to their respective areas and produce an exclusive story on minority-related issues within the next two months. They also resolved to use the skills and knowledge acquired during the training to highlight issues faced by minority communities in a more effective and comprehensive manner.The journalists also highly appreciated the services and efforts of Madam Shabana Arif and expressed their gratitude for organizing the training sessions and providing them with an opportunity to learn and enhance their reporting skills.
