In a landmark decision, Pakistan has taken a significant step towards promoting inclusivity and equality by approving religious education textbooks for non-Muslim students. This historic move aligns with Article 25 of the Pakistan Constitution, ensuring equal opportunities for all citizens, regardless of their faith.The approved curriculum includes Christian Education, Sanatan Dharma, Sikh Dharma, Kalasha Education, Buddhism, and Zoroastrianism, reflecting the country’s commitment to preserving its rich cultural diversity. This initiative is expected to foster interfaith harmony, promote mutual respect, and uphold social justice.The approval of a curriculum for non-Muslim students to teach their own religions includes the special efforts of Professor Anjum James Paul. Professor Anjum James Paul is the chairman of the Pakistan Minorities Teachers Association. His efforts in this regard are being appreciated by civil society.
