Women Business Incubation Centre (WBIC), a flagship initiative of the Punjab Small Industries Corporation (PSIC), launched its Cohort 14 during an orientation session held at Daftarkhawan Vogue Towers, Lahore. The 3-month women’s entrepreneurship incubation program aims to empower aspiring and existing women business owners by providing training, mentorship, and structured support to transform their business ideas into market-ready ventures.

The ceremony was attended by senior PSIC leadership, including Mr. Malik Naveed Ahmad Awan, Regional Director (Lahore); Mr. Amjad Abbas Shah, Deputy Director (Admin) R.O. Lahore; Ms. Urwa Tul Wosqa, Assistant Director (C&CIs); Dr. Moneeba Iftikhar, Consultant/Mentor (WBIC), and Ms. Amna Tahira Awan, Project Director (WBIC), along with the project team. The officials warmly welcomed the new incubatees and highlighted WBIC’s upgraded vision emphasizing a modern, impactful, and growth-driven incubation experience for women.

During the orientation, the WBIC management introduced Cohort 14’s redesigned and industry-aligned curriculum. The program now focuses on essential entrepreneurial modules such as entrepreneurial mindset, communication skills, design thinking, product development, branding, storytelling, pitching, social media strategies, and digital marketing. Each module is structured to promote practical learning, hands-on activities, and measurable weekly progress for all participants.

A major highlight of Cohort 14 is its diverse panel of expert mentors, combining academic knowledge with proven entrepreneurial experience. Their guidance is expected to provide participants with real-world insights, technical expertise, and strategic direction throughout the incubation journey.

The session concluded with a Q&A round, where the participants shared their queries and received detailed answers from the WBIC team. The orientation ended on an encouraging note, setting a strong foundation for the months ahead.

With its enhanced curriculum, specialized mentorship, and commitment to women’s economic inclusion, WBIC Cohort 14 stands as a transformative platform enabling women entrepreneurs to strengthen their ideas, build scalable businesses, and contribute to a more progressive economic landscape in Punjab.
