Meeting of Peace & Harmony Group Held at Catholic Church Warispura, Faisalabad

On the occasion of Defence Day, a grand meeting on peace and harmony was organized by the Dominican Justice and Peace Commission at Catholic Church Warispura. The session was chaired by Mrs. Hanna Ruban. The meeting formally began with the recitation of the Holy Bible and the Holy Quran.The purpose of the gathering was to promote peace, unity, and interfaith harmony in society. Members of the Peace & Harmony Group attended the meeting and took part in discussions on building a society based on mutual respect, love, and brotherhood.The Dominican Justice and Peace Commission stressed the importance of working together to address the challenges of injustice and to spread the message of peace. The atmosphere of the meeting reflected a commitment to truth, justice, and harmony, in line with the Commission’s motto.On this occasion, Robin Gill, Mrs. Robin Gill, Chief Organizer of the National Peace Committee of Pakistan Sufi Mukhtar Ahmad Hajveri, Central Chairman Pyara Bhai Shahzad, Shamaun Gill, President of Punjab Human Rights, Haseeb Ahmad Sindhu, Chairman of Punjab, Aurangzeb Bhatti, Benjamin Ghamman, Ijaz Bhatti and others attended and addressed the gathering. They spoke on Defence Day and on the importance of peace.The participants appreciated the initiative and expressed their resolve to continue working for peace and harmony in Faisalabad. The meeting concluded with special prayers for peace, prosperity, and unity in the country.
At the end of the meeting, a cake was cut to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), which stood as a clear symbol of interfaith harmony.
