Opening Ceremony of Youth Gathering at Faisalabad Diocese organized by La Salle Brothers Pakistan

A three-days Youth Gathering 2026, themed “Walking Together in Faith,” was organized by the La Salle Brothers Pakistan in Faisalabad Diocese and the opening ceremony took place at La Salle High School and College Faisalabad. The event is based on the faith formation and personal development of Christian youth in Pakistan.
The opening ceremony was graced by several distinguished guests, including Vicar General of Faisalabad Diocese, Father Abid Tanveer; Brother Sajid Bashir, Sector Coordinator Pakistan; Father Nadeem John Shaker, Youth Director of Faisalabad Diocese; Brother Zafar Daud, Brother Samuel Tabish; Brother Robin Younas, Lasallian National Youth Coordinator; Brother Siddique Gill; Brother Qulb-e-Noor; Father Khalid Rashid Asi; Father Shafiq Bashir; Father Khalid Mukhtar; Father Zafar Iqbal, Father Noman OP, Father Samuel Saad, Father Younas Inayat; Father Khalid Mukhtar, Sr. Rukhsana Samuel; Sr. Sarwat Iqbal; Naveed Asif; Anil Mushtaq; Mushtaq Khushi. More than 200 youth member from various parishes and brick kiln areas participated in the event.
The administration and Lasallian Youth Faisalabad extended a warm welcome to all honored guests and participants. During the opening session, Brother Sajid Bashir, Father Abid Tanveer, Father Samuel Saad and Father Nadeem John Shaker addressed the gathering, encouraging the youth and highlighting the importance of their personal formation, leadership, and active role in the Church and society.
The program marks a significant step toward empowering young people to grow in faith, unity, and service, embodying the spirit of walking together as one community in Christ.
