Khushpur’s 125th Jubilee Celebrated with Grandeur

Faisalabad -The 125th Jubilee of Khushpur, a Catholic village in Faisalabad district was celebrated with great pomp and grandeur on February 9, 2026. The chief guest, Bishop Indrias Rehmat, Bishop of Faisalabad Diocese, was accompanied by other dignitaries.
The parish priest,Fr. Nadeem John Shaker and the congregation welcomed the guests, including the Imam of Khushpur Mosque. The Muslim community also participated in the celebration, and the Imam presented a garland to Bishop Dr.Indrias Rehmat and congratulated him on the Jubilee.
The guests visited the Khushpur Memorial, where school children welcomed them with flower petals. The band of St.Thomas High School led the procession. Bishop Dr. Indrias Rehmat blessed the Khushpur Memorial tablet and inaugurated the Fr.Felix Chowk, naming the square after the founder of Khushpur, Father Felix.A plaque was unveiled to commemorate the occasion.

The guests then participated in the Holy Mass, led by Bishop Dr.Indrias Rehmat. After the Mass, children presented a short tableau on the 125th Jubilee.Vicar General Fr.Abid Tanveer, Br۔Sajid Bashir, Fr۔Pascal Polus, Sister Perveen Lal and other heads of congregations expressed their views and shields were presented to the dignitaries.
