La Salle High School and College, Faisalabad, organized a one-day “Recollection Day” seminar for teachers, focusing on spiritual renewal and preparation for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. The session was led by Reverend Father Khalid Mukhtar and held under the auspices of Principal Reverend Brother Sajid Bashir, Sector Coordinator of La Salle Brothers Pakistan, along with the school administration.
In his address, Rev. Father Khalid Mukhtar emphasized the importance of preparing for the coming of Christ and outlined five essential spiritual steps: solitude, repentance, fruitfulness, humility, and refining one’s actions.
He explained that solitude encourages silent communication with God, allowing individuals to reflect deeply. Repentance, he noted, calls for acknowledging one’s sins and seeking God’s forgiveness.
The third step, *fruitfulness, emphasizes performing deeds that reflect true repentance. *Humility, he added, requires submitting oneself completely to God’s will. The final step—improving one’s actions—calls for regularly examining one’s conscience and confessing sins to strengthen one’s spiritual journey.
The seminar concluded with a renewed commitment from the teachers to embrace these principles in their personal and professional lives
