AWARD commemorated the International Day of Persons with Disabilities at the Community Hall, Catholic Church Warispura, Faisalabad. Assistant Director of the Social Welfare Department, Mr. Bilal Asgher, presented wheelchairs and assistive devices along with Executive Director AWARD, Ms. Christina Peter, Sir Peter Shahzad, Advisor & Consultant, Mr. Haroon Rasheed, Executive Board Member, Mr. Saleem Shaker of FPCCI Lahore, Fr. Irfan Christ OP, Mr. Najum Rasheed, Finance Manager, Mr. Irfan John, M&E Coordinator, and Mr. Akmal Javed Gill, Project Officer of URAAN, as well as AWARD staff. The objective of this celebration was to emphasize the importance of inclusivity for persons with disabilities in our community and provide them with assistive devices.
