The Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal Department Faisalabad, in collaboration with UNICEF, organized an insightful awareness seminar on Child Online Protection at FAST NUCES, Chiniot-Faisalabad Campus. The session was attended by faculty members and students from the CS and FSM departments.

Distinguished guests included Mrs. Khalda Rafiq, Regional Director Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal, and Mr. M. Tayyab Bhatti, AD (HQ),SW, who delivered a comprehensive and thought-provoking talk on the growing social concern of child safety in the digital world.

They discussed how Generation Z is increasingly exposed to online risks, manipulative digital activities, and harmful virtual interactions. The speakers emphasized practical strategies for identifying online threats, preventing digital abuse, and promoting responsible digital behavior in an era dominated by technology and social media.

At the end of the event, the Worthy Director of FAST NUCES CFD Campus, Prof. Dr. Shahzad Sarfraz, expressed his gratitude to the Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal team. He appreciated their dedication and highlighted the significance of such awareness initiatives in shaping a safer and more informed digital environment for today’s youth.
