RASTA NGOS NETWORK, along with member organizations like Maimar Development Organization, CARE Foundation, Adaraa Samaji Behbood, and others, organized a seminar to celebrate International Women’s Day in Waris Pura, Faisalabad. The event featured prominent guests, including Dr. Najma Afzal, Ex-MPA, and Romana Bashir, Executive Director, Peace and Development Foundation, as chief guests.Speakers highlighted the crucial role women play in national development, emphasizing their contributions across various fields and the respect they deserve. They stressed that all religions accord women a valuable status, and it’s essential to recognize their efforts.Romana Bashir praised Punjab Government’s initiatives for women’s welfare, particularly the ordinance banning underage marriages in Punjab.
