Family Planning Department Holds Awareness Program at Nusrat Fateh Ali Auditorium Faisalabad

The Family Planning Department, Government of Punjab, organized an awareness program on 30th December 2025 at Nusrat Fateh Ali Auditorium Faisalabad. The program aimed to educate people about family planning and its benefits.
The event was attended by Director General Population Welfare Department Saman Rai, CEO Health Dr. Shahbaz, District Officer Population Welfare Officer Naila, Deputy District Officer Tayiba Azam Khan, Mian Nadeem Ahmad, Rana Zahid Iqbal and other dignitaries. They emphasized the importance of increasing access to family planning services, stating that it can improve maternal and child health, reduce maternal mortality and decrease infant mortality rates.
The program also highlighted initiatives taken by the Department of Primary Health and Population Welfare to focus on rural and underprivileged populations, aiming to enhance overall quality of life for families by increasing access to family planning services.
