The Civil Society Support Program (CSSP) delegation, led by Program Head Mr. Wahid Sangrasi, visited the SSP Hyderabad Office and the Minority Facilitation Desk (MFD) under the MOU signed with the DIGP Hyderabad Range. SSP Hyderabad Mr. Adeel Hussain Chandio warmly welcomed the delegation and appreciated their continuous collaboration with the police for the protection and welfare of underprivileged and minority communities.During the visit, the Focal Person and Incharge Human Rights Cell (HRC) briefed the delegation on the performance and initiatives of the desk, highlighting key cases resolved during the year and ongoing measures for community welfare. The Focal Person MFD Range also applauded the intervention efforts of the Incharge HR in sensitive cases, particularly where timely action ensured protection and justice for minority members. Mr. Boota Imtiaz, representative of the Sindh Human Rights Commission, further briefed the DPC members and CSSP delegation about the significant steps taken against interest sharks, sharing that relief worth millions of rupees had been provided to the public through recoveries facilitated by the desk.The CSSP delegation, led by Mr. Wahid Sangrasi, appreciated the dedication of SSP Hyderabad Mr. Adeel Hussain Chandio and his team for their professionalism and people-centric policing approach. They acknowledged the desk’s active role in building trust between law enforcement and the community while ensuring social inclusion and justice.The visit also aimed to plan training and capacity-building sessions for District Peace Committee (DPC) members and desk staff to further strengthen their ability to manage security at religious places and address community-related issues effectively and sensitively.
