Vice Chancellor of GCU, Dr Muhammad Umar Chaudhry, Professors and students of Government College University in Lahore , celebrated a colourful and impressive Christmas in the GCU Campus. Fr James Channan was invited as , Guest of Honour, to speak on the significance of Christmas for humanity. At Christmas, Birthday of Lord Jesus Christ is celebrated. Professor Dr. Sardar Kayan Singh, Dr. Muhammad Naeem and Ms Seneha John of GCU Peace Society of GC were the main organisers. Christmas Carrolls were sung and Christmas Cake was also cut. It sets a great example of interfaith celebrations of religious festivals in the Colleges and Universities in Pakistan.
