Punjab Minister for Minorities Affairs, Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora, held a meeting to review the implementation of the 2% minority quota in the Education Department. The discussion focused on ensuring that minority students receive fair opportunities in higher education, particularly in medical universities and institutes. Arora emphasized the need for strict implementation of the policy and better coordination with concerned departments to protect the educational rights of minorities. This move reflects the Punjab government’s commitment to promoting inclusivity and equal opportunities for minority communities.The meeting highlighted the government’s dedication to safeguarding the rights of minorities and promoting education as a key factor in their empowerment.
