The 4th Job Fair Faisalabad was successfully organized at La Salle High School & College, D-Ground, Faisalabad, under the them Empowering Pakistan’s Youth: A Day of Opportunity and Celebration”and Building Pakistan Together: Inclusivity, Opportunity, Celebration.The event was organized by Saiban-e-Pakistan, an initiative of the Paigham-e-Pakistan Centre for Peace, Reconciliation & Reconstruction Studies, in collaboration with the Punjab Centre of Excellence on Countering Violent Extremism (CoE-CVE), the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI), the Roman Catholic Diocese of Faisalabad, theChurch of Pakistan Diocese of Gojra/Faisalabad, Aadi Dharam Valmiki Samaj (Reg.) Pakistan, members of the Sikh community associated with Nankana Sahib, and the local Bahá’í Community.The Job Fair was attended by approximately 750 students and young job seekers, who had the opportunity to interact directly with employers, educational institutions, and skills development organizations, gaining valuable information about employment, career development, and vocational training.The event was graced by Chief Guest Senator Khalil Tahir Sandhu, while the Guests of Honour included Mr. Farooq Yousaf Sheikh, President, Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI); Mr. Ghulam Saghir Shahid, Chief Coordination Officer, Punjab Centre of Excellence on Countering Violent Extremism; His Lordship Bishop Prof. Dr. Inderyas Rehmat, Bishop of Faisalabad Bishop Aleem Anwar, Mr. Sajan Bhatia Dr. Asma of Government College Women University Faisalabad and Mr. Christopher Sharaf, National Coordinator, Saiban-e-Pakistan. The programme was also attended by clergy, including priests, religious sisters, community leaders, representatives of partner organizations, and distinguished guests from across Faisalabad.Speakers emphasized the importance of empowering young people through employment, technical education, and skills development while promoting social cohesion, inclusivity, and interfaith harmony. They commended the collaborative efforts of all partner organizations in creating opportunities that contribute to a more peaceful, united, and prosperous Pakistan.
