Sacred Heart Convent High School in Faisalabad is gearing up to celebrate the Advent season 2025 with great fervor under the leadership of Principal Rev. Sr. Naseem Niamat! The school will mark the beginning of this special season with the lighting of the first candle, symbolizing hope, on November 28, 2025.
Advent, which translates to “coming” or “arrival,” is a time of preparation and reflection for Christians worldwide, commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ. The four Sundays leading up to Christmas are traditionally marked with candle-lighting ceremonies, prayers, and acts of kindness.
At Sacred Heart Convent High School, students, teachers, and staff came together to light the first candle, setting the tone for a season of joy, love, and spiritual growth. The ceremony is expected to be a beautiful and uplifting experience, filled with music, prayer, and inspiration ⁴.
As the Advent season begins, students will be encouraged to reflect on the values of hope, peace, joy, and love, and to spread kindness and compassion to those around them. The school’s celebration is part of a larger global movement, with Christians from diverse backgrounds and denominations uniting to observe this special time!
